Tyson is a highly experienced games designer and lighting artist with over 11 years of industry experience. He is based in Australia working as a senior lighting and environment artist at Grease Monkey Games working on the Torque Drift Series, and is a Founder and the Creative Director of Toybox Games Studios, where he is currently working on developing the highly anticipated game, Primordials Legends: Hollow Hero.

Tyson has an impressive resume, having previously worked as a Lead Lighter and Unreal Generalist on projects such as the Battle Kitty Interactive Netflix Original and a mini-series for Fortnite from Epic Games. In addition to his work in the gaming industry, Tyson has also developed several award-winning small-scale games and digital creations, including the viral sensation “A Superman Flight Experience”, which has garnered over 10,000,000 views and 100,000 comments, reviews and downloads.

Tyson has an extensive educational background, having completed a 'Masters in Animation, Games and Interactivity', a 'Graduate Diploma in Creative Media', a 'Bachelor of Interactive Entertainment', and a 'Diploma in Information Technology'.

In recognition of his talent and hard work, Tyson has received numerous accolades and awards. He was named a Develop Pacific 30 Under Thirty 2019, and his work on Primordials: Fireborn was a finalist for the Australian Production Design Guild Awards. He was also the winner of Best Gameplay for his project, Heart of Zarar, and was a finalist for the People's Choice award for the same project.
